VCU Rams Florida State Seminoles NCAA Tournament Pick: While this is largely viewed as the “who cares” game in the Sweet 16, I can’t wait to see this one go down. Here we have the VCU Rams, a team that plenty of people questioned their spot in the tournament at all, and you’ve got the Florida State Seminoles, a decent (but not great) ACC team that lost to Virginia Tech twice, Clemson, and Maryland, didn’t have one single solid out of conference win, and still made it to the dance while Virginia Tech was left out. But hey, both of these teams are playing great. When you’re hot you’re hot, and they have been.

One of the most anticipated hockey games of the year takes place tonight in Boston when the Bruins host their arch rival Montreal Canadiens. This is the first meeting since the controversial hit of Boston’s Zdeno Chara on Max Pacioretty.

Boston is the big favorite in this matchup – but watch for a motivated Montreal team. RDS in Canada will have the coverage beginning at 7 pm ET.

This has been one of the best rivalries for decades and it’s no different this year with only three points separating them for first place in the Northeast Division.

The Horizon League usually gets just one team into the NCAA’s Big Tournament every year.  The last two years, Butler has been the one team from the conference to represent.  Last year they went all the way to the finals before losing to Duke in the closing seconds. This year, they knocked #1 seed Pitt out of the tournament with a dramatic 71-70 win on a Matt Howard free throw with less than a second remaining.
